The Cityzen will become a large-scale urban renewal with housing, work and leisure functions. The aim is to redevelop the 62,000 m² building above "The Mint" shopping centre into a mixed residential, office and hotel complex by 2024. The order also aims to give the building an architectural content corresponding to its central location and to make it communicate with its direct environment.
Located in the centre of Brussels, this building overlooks the Place De Brouckère. Its position gives it excellent visibility, in addition to making it very easily accessible, notably via the metro, the various bus lines and the tram at De Brouckère station, but also 5 minutes on foot from the Central Station and the Grand Place. The Mint is surrounded by a multitude of shops, cafés, restaurants and cultural sites.
